1st November 2003
Kite surfing: ynyslas Wind Direction: nw Wind Stength: tractor weather Surf / Sea State: good wave jumping Air Temperature: novemberish Sea Temperature: warmer then the wind Weather: Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Graham and myself arrived about 9.30ish and we first had a look over the
sea wall at the golf course car park-wind whehey!!!
on to ynyslas, just not lazy enough to park up at the golf course ,prefer
the walk over the dunes at ynyslas;well prefer the varied sea states
there.
just finished the mamouth task of blowing up the tractor(affectionate term
for my blue 16 mtr free air, pulls like one!) when the a squall came through
at a vast rate of knotts.time to hide under the kite and have
breackfast, unlike you locals who were probably still having it at home.
after the squall had blown itself out we ventured onto the sea ;me on my
tractor and 145 mad eel and Graham on his 16 mtr cabrinah and 155 mad
eel.
a pretty good day coming off the water at about 3.00 ish knackered! met
Alex from wolverhampton flying a gorrila and if you are reading this Alex
we should be going up to porthmadoch this sat if the wind stays from the
south, give us a bell 07904 504224 if you want to meet up.
had a trip over the estuary to say hi to Mark as he was teaching over there
quite pleasant in the sunshine.
not a bad day nice to see that we are at last getting some consistant
winter westerlys and looking forward to many more to come.
